During the warranty period, if a defect arises in the Device, and you follow the instructions for returning the Device, we will at our option, to the extent permitted by law, either (i) repair the Device using either new or refurbished parts, (ii) replace the Device with a refurbished Device that is equivalent to the Device to be replaced, or (iii) refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the Device. For extended coverage after the manufacturer’s warranty expires, you have the option to purchase a Microsoft Complete protection plan within 45 days of device purchase. Microsoft Complete protection plans can be purchased for a period of 2, 3 or 4 years. *The manufacturer’s limited hardware warranty varies by region and is in addition to your consumer law rights. |
