Ask the Dust

In the early 1930's, Arturo Bandini (Oscar nominee Colin Farrell) is a struggling writer who moves from Colorado to Los Angeles with aspirations of completing a great novel. Six months later and down to his last nickel, everything changes when he meets bold Mexican waitress, Camilla (Oscar nominee Salma Hayek), who seeks a better life with a plan to marry a wealthy American. The unlikely couple fall in love, but the troubles of life may just tear them apart again. Written and directed by Oscar winner Robert Towne (Chinatown).
