The easiest way to make sure you’re covered from the get-go is to add Microsoft Complete when you buy a new Surface or Xbox.

Option 2: Add within 45 days of device purchase

For Surface devices only², open the Microsoft Store App from the Surface device you wish to purchase the plan for, search for “Microsoft Complete” and select the appropriate plan you would like to purchase.

    This Protection Plan is classed as an insurance product under local regulations. 

    You can only buy a Microsoft Protection Plan from Microsoft or from the Retailer where you bought the original device (if it is offered). Plans must be bought with an eligible device and not as a standalone product.
