Edge for Business

Signing in lets you sync your browser data like favorites, passwords, and history and gives you single sign-on for sites and apps so you can quickly access what you need. Signing in with your work account is also how you get access to the Edge for Business experience in Microsoft Edge!

Signing in with a personal account gives you your own personal browsing window that’s separate from your Edge for Business browsing window. Your favorites, passwords, and history are unique to each browser window so you can keep your personal and work online activities separate. You can sign in with an existing personal account or you can create a new one. 

Select your profile image in your Edge for Business browser window to easily set up a personal profile. You’ll have access to a personal browser window once you sign in with your personal account. “Personal” will show up next to your profile image so you can easily tell when you’re using the personal browser window.  

If you use both work and personal browser windows, Microsoft Edge is designed to recognize sites that require your work account and will automatically open them in the Edge for Business browser window to help keep everything separate. In the future, a growing set of popular, non-work sites will also automatically open in the personal browser window. 

Edge for Business is a dedicated Edge browser window that provides you with required security and productivity benefits you need at work. It’s automatically available when you sign into Microsoft Edge with a work account—no separate download required!
