Two Senate leaders released a Bipartisan Framework for U.S. AI Act, which proposes creating an AI licensing regime administered by an independent oversight body, among other provisions. The Senate also hosted a bipartisan closed-door forum on AI with tech sector leaders, including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella. The Senate Judiciary Committee\u2019s Subcommittee on Privacy, Technology, and the Law held a hearing on AI as well.
