This year, Microsoft is offering a collection of winter break camps, or <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-gb\/store\/workshops-training-and-events\/students\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\">free creative workshops and virtual field trips<\/a><\/strong>, to keep students engaged during their extra time while on holiday break.<\/p>\n<p>These events will give students the opportunity to see new places and learn new skills from the safety and comfort of home. They\u2019ll be having so much fun at camp that they won\u2019t even realize they\u2019re gaining valuable skills covering everything from history to coding.<\/p>\n<p>With nearly 200 virtual events to choose from, it\u2019s easy to find activities that best fit your student\u2019s interests, schedule, and learning needs. Here are just a few events to keep students engaged over the holidays:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Follow the Iditarod<\/strong>: Travel the iconic Iditarod dog sledding route across Alaska, learning about its history and destinations along the way.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Winter World Tour<\/strong>: Visit four incredible snow- and ice-themed destinations, including Finland\u2019s arctic zoo and Breckenridge in the Rocky Mountains.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Holiday Greeting Card Magic<\/strong>: Create interactive holiday e-cards in PowerPoint to send to loved ones.
