At Microsoft Education, we are here to support students and teachers in their journey.<\/p>\n<p>Some time ago, we wrote about the <a href=\"https:\/\/educationblog.microsoft.com\/en-us\/2018\/10\/teaching-assessing-math-reimagined-microsoft-education\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">current technology<\/a> you can use to support the growth of developing mathematicians \u2013 regardless of age or ability. Today, we have a set of updates across Microsoft Education to celebrate the International Math Day!<\/p>\n<p><em>Note: We are in the process of releasing these features, so it may be a little while before you see it in your app or build.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/content.cloudguides.com\/en-us\/guides\/Provide%20inclusive%20math%20tools\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">Math Assistant in OneNote<\/a> is a great practice helper \u2013 from basic math to calculus, you can see step-by-step instructions to the solution, which allows you to build understanding of the solution process.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Solver.gif\" role=\"button\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/education\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Solver.gif\" alt=\"Math Assistant in OneNote\" \/>Math Assistant in OneNote<\/p>\n<p>With this update to Math Assistant for younger learners, the step-by-step guide can now help students learn and practice long addition and subtraction. Just type or ink your problem, select it and press the Math button to get started.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Long addition.png\" role=\"button\" src=\"https:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/en-us\/education\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/Long-addition.png\" alt=\"Long addition\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Long addition<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, in response to your feedback, the <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/topic\/generate-a-practice-math-quiz-with-math-assistant-in-onenote-ad28f238-1133-4273-88b6-801287fb51c4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Practice math quiz<\/a> is getting smarter! It also comes ready with a mathematical keyboard so you can easily type math problems instead of hunting around a traditional keyboard for the characters you need. That\u2019s not all. After solving your problem, Math Solver provides many options to continue learning with additional materials such as quizzes, worksheets, and video tutorials.<\/p>\n<p>When you visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bing.com\/search?q=math+solver\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\">bing.com<\/a>, you can use an advanced scientific calculator with multi-modal input support for typing, handwriting and math images. This feature is now available globally in over 30 languages.
