They can also track progress toward unlocking new story elements or earning badges. It\u2019s personalized based on their progress, so they\u2019re working on exactly what they need to improve their reading skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here\u2019s how it works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">After reading a passage, select <strong>Practice words<\/strong> in the results box.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Reading Coach will highlight five challenging words. Choose one to practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Break the word in syllables or listen to it being read aloud to hear the pronunciation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Select the microphone to practice reading the word aloud.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">The word and star fill level will change based on improvement. Keep practicing until both turn green.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-list-item\">Select <strong>Next word<\/strong> to practice the others.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When all the words are correct, a pop-up will appear. They can choose to keep the unlocked element or swap it for another.
