The reason we are doing this is simple: Our goal is to give every customer the ability to transform their businesses, and the world at large, with connected solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Other key announcements include:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Azure IoT Central is now generally available\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last December we <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.microsoft.com\/iot\/2017\/12\/05\/microsoft-iot-central-broadens-reach-simplicity-saas-enterprise-grade-iot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced the public preview<\/a> of Azure IoT Central, and it is now <a href=\"https:\/\/azure.microsoft.com\/en-us\/blog\/azure-iot-central-ga\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">generally available<\/a>. Azure IoT Central is a fully managed software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering that enables customers and partners to provision an IoT solution in seconds, customize it in a few hours, and go to production the same day\u2014all without requiring any cloud solution development expertise.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Introducing Azure Digital Twins: the next evolution in IoT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Azure Digital Twins, a breakthrough service in our IoT platform that enables customers and partners to create a comprehensive digital model of any physical environment, including people, places, and things, as well as the relationships and processes that bind them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Securing IoT from device to cloud &#8211;
