Planner makes it easy for your team to create plans, organize and assign work, share files, chat about what everyone is working on and get updates on progress.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re happy to announce that today we\u2019ve started rolling out Planner preview to Office 365 <a href=\"https:\/\/support.office.com\/en-us\/article\/Office-365-release-options-3b3adfa4-1777-4ff0-b606-fb8732101f47?CorrelationId=acd28f20-200b-4c18-9406-6cd7e4a57fe0&amp;ui=en-US&amp;rs=en-US&amp;ad=US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">First Release<\/a> customers. Office 365 administrators who have opted into First Release will receive an email with instructions on how to set up the preview once it is available for their tenancy. Which Office 365 plans are eligible for Planner preview?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong>\u00a0Planner preview is available to First Release customers on the following plans: Office 365 Enterprise E1, Office 365 Enterprise E3, Office 365 Enterprise E4, Office 365 Enterprise E5, Office 365 Education, Office 365 Education E3, Office 365 Education E4, Office 365 Business Essentials and Office 365 Business Premium.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q. <strong>When will Planner be available in my Office 365 tenant?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.\u00a0<\/strong>Beginning today, Planner preview will start rolling out to Office 365 First Release customers, and IT admins of applicable tenants will need to take a few steps to set up the preview. We expect the rollout of preview to First Release customers worldwide to be complete in the next several weeks. We expect to make Planner generally available to all eligible Office 365 commercial and education customers in 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q. Does Planner integrate with Office 365 Groups?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong>\u00a0Office 365 Groups is a foundational <a href=\"https:\/\/support.office.com\/en-US\/Article\/Find-help-about-groups-in-Office-365-7a9b321f-b76a-4d53-b98b-a2b0b7946de1?ui=en-US&amp;rs=en-US&amp;ad=US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">service<\/a> that allows individuals to easily create public or private groups. Each new plan created in Planner automatically creates a new Office 365 Group. Also, every pre-existing Office 365 Group will get an associated plan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q. Does Planner Preview apply to First Release for the Entire Organization and First Release for Select individuals?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> Planner Preview currently applies to First Release Entire Organization only.
