There are between 350 and 400 million small and medium businesses (SMBs) worldwide.1<\/sup> They account for 90 percent of all businesses2<\/sup> and approximately 44 percent of the global gross domestic product (GDP).3<\/sup> SMBs are the cornerstone of every community and the lifeblood of the global economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
