We’re committed to making data integration between Microsoft Dataverse and Microsoft Fabric faster, simpler, and more secure. These new capabilities address the most common customer pain points—reducing costs, improving performance, and eliminating credential complexity—while enabling near real-time insights for better decision-making.

Manage Tables: Freedom and Cost Savings for Administrators

One of the top asks from our customers has been the ability to select only the tables you need when linking Dataverse and Fabric. Previously, admins had to bring in entire datasets, including unnecessary tables, which drove up storage costs and added complexity.

With Manage Tables in public preview, administrators now have complete control to include only the required tables—whether from Finance and Operations (FnO) or Dataverse. This drastically reduces storage costs and optimizes performance.
