To prevent this,\u00a0we are\u00a0excited to\u00a0announce\u00a0that the capability to<\/strong>\u00a0restore deleted table records\u00a0in Microsoft Dataverse in\u00a0General Availability\u00a0starting late\u00a0April 2026<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0additional\u00a0enhancements based on feedback from customers and MVP community.\u00a0Organizations have the assurance that they can recover from unforeseen data loss without disruptions,\u00a0ensuring\u00a0business continuity and\u00a0customer\u00a0trust.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Records can be deleted from multiple sources and understanding these data loss scenarios is essential: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Previously, deleted records keeping settings could vary by table, creating complexity for admins and uncertainty for users. For example, in environments with parent-child relationships, partial keeping of deleted records often meant incomplete recovery\u2014leading to operational risks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n To eliminate this complexity, deleted records keeping is now managed at the environment level<\/strong>. Admins can enable or disable deleted records keeping for all tables in an environment with a single setting by going to feature management. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This change ensures: <\/p>\n\n\n\n This streamlined approach to deleted records keeping turn a fragmented setup into a consistent, organization-wide safeguard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n With this update, admins in Power Platform Admin Centre (PPAC) gain complete authority over deleted record keeping and clean-up, along with clear visibility into storage usage: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Optimize\u00a0with Confidence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Admins can manage\u00a0deleted\u00a0record keeping\u00a0periods (up to 30 days). Admins can make informed decisions to balance data safety with storage efficiency, tailoring\u00a0deleted\u00a0records keeping period\u00a0to business needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Flexible Clean-Up Options<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Admin can use the new “Delete All Records” button for quick purges or selectively\u00a0delete\u00a0records for granular control.
