Not to worry, we are here to help. We\u2019ll walk you through the common support scenarios of filing a support incident as well as letting us know about a potential bug.<\/p>\n<p>First off, before reaching out for help it\u2019s important to note that we have a multitude of Self Help resources that may help solve your issue:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/powerapps.microsoft.com\/en-us\/guided-learning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guided Learning<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/powerapps.microsoft.com\/en-us\/tutorials\/common-issues-and-resolutions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Common Issues<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/powerapps.microsoft.com\/en-us\/tutorials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Documentation<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/powerusers.microsoft.com\/t5\/PowerApps-Community\/ct-p\/PowerApps1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Community Forum<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"PowerApps_Support_Main\" border=\"0\" height=\"342\" src=\"https:\/\/pwrappscdn.azureedge.net\/mediahandler\/blog\/media\/PowerApps\/blog\/990648c9-d79f-4f25-8345-3e9d4670d8ac.png\" style=\"border: 0px currentcolor; border-image: none; margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;\" title=\"PowerApps_Support_Main\" width=\"610\"\/><\/p>\n<h3>Ok, I need help!<\/h3>\n<p>The first stop is the <a href=\"https:\/\/powerusers.microsoft.com\/t5\/PowerApps-Community\/ct-p\/PowerApps1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PowerApps Community<\/a>. The Community is full of avid PowerApps users looking to assist others with their issues. Additionally, the Community is actively monitored by the PowerApps Product Group as well. So, this is a great place to post your question and get help and at the same time offering others an opportunity to solve a similar problem.<\/p>\n<p>If you need more assistance directly from PowerApps Support, you can engage us by submitting an incident via our <a href=\"https:\/\/powerapps.microsoft.com\/en-us\/support\/pro\/ticket\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Contact Support<\/a> form. Note that you will need to be logged in to access the form and submit your ticket.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Support_Submission\" border=\"0\" height=\"610\" src=\"https:\/\/pwrappscdn.azureedge.net\/mediahandler\/blog\/media\/PowerApps\/blog\/fcb6d9ef-4461-4f66-b5af-0669af370410.png\" style=\"margin: 0px auto; border: 0px currentcolor; border-image: none; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;\" title=\"Support_Submission\" width=\"604\"\/><\/p>\n<p>When submitting your support ticket, provide as much detail as possible including any error messages as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/powerapps\/maker\/canvas-apps\/get-sessionid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Session ID and App ID<\/a>. These details will ensure our Support Engineers have information to start troubleshooting your issue prior to contacting you, effectively speeding up the time to get your issue resolved.<\/p>\n<p>Once your ticket is received, Support Engineers will review the data provided and conduct initial research\/troubleshooting, depending on the detail provided. You will receive an initial response from a Support Engineer within 8 business hours. This will be an introduction, confirmation of issue and request for additional information, if needed. Subsequent communications will continue via email or on the phone until a resolution has been provided.<\/p>\n<p>In the event your issue is too complex or requires service side support, the Support Engineer will reach out to the PowerApps Product Group. Though you will not be part of these interactions the Support Engineer will continue to communicate on the status of your issue. They may ask for additional information or provide steps to resolve the issue.<\/p>\n<p>Upon receiving a solution, you will be asked to test and verify the issue is resolved. When you confirm the issue has been resolved, either via email or on the phone, the Support Engineer will close the ticket. If you do not or cannot respond, our Support team will try to contact you two to three times prior to closing the ticket. If the issue arises again you can reopen the original request or create a new ticket referencing the previous ticket.<\/p>\n<p>We strive to resolve your issue as quickly as possible and Support and the PowerApps Product Group work together daily to make this happen. Three things that can greatly impact the time it takes to resolve your issue:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Amount of detail initially provided<\/li>\n<li>Complexity of the issue<\/li>\n<li>Speed of responses to requests for information<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>No, it\u2019s a bug!<\/h3>\n<p>You\u2019ve double checked your formulas, connections, code, etc. and believe you\u2019ve found a bug. Head over to the <a href=\"https:\/\/powerusers.microsoft.com\/t5\/PowerApps-Community\/ct-p\/PowerApps1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PowerApps Community<\/a> and let us know. The PowerApps Product Group is on overwatch specifically for these situations.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll ask some clarifying questions to validate it\u2019s a bug and if not will help you identify the cause. If it is a bug, we will document it internally, triage it and schedule a fix. Once we have an understanding of the fix and timing we\u2019ll post back to the Power Apps Community for broad awareness.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"File_Bug_Example\"
