Microsoft Research was a platinum sponsor of Applied Machine Learning Days at EPFL (opens in new tab) (AMLD EPFL 2022), a global platform for AI and Machine Learning that took place from March 26 – 30, 2022 at the Swiss Tech Convention Centre, Lausanne, Switzerland. This was our first fully in-person post-Covid event with over 1700 attendants.
Max Welling, Distinguished Scientist at Microsoft Research and research chair in Machine Learning at the University of Amsterdam and Marc Pollefeys, Director of the Mixed Reality and AI Zurich Lab delivered keynote talks. Moreover, we organised the Annual Swiss Joint Research Center Workshop and a panel session with EPFL, ETH Zurich and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) as conference tracks.
