Computational Sustainability

In order to reduce the risks and impacts of climate change, global efforts to keep the average temperature rise within 1.5 degrees Celsius are of great significance to all mankind. In this context, many countries around the world have successively announced their carbon neutrality goals. Of course, China has also proposed the goal that carbon peaking by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060. However, relevant research and development experience has shown that it usually takes 50 to 70 years for carbon from peaking to carbon neutrality, so the situation that china faces is quite severe. At the same time, in China, coal-fired power plants produce more than 40% of the total CO2 emissions.
