Senior Research Software Engineer

关于

I am a Senior Research Software Engineer in the Software Analysis and Intelligence in Engineering Systems (SAINTES) (opens in new tab) group and the Developer Experience Lab (opens in new tab) within Microsoft Research, currently pursuing ways to measure and improve the developer experience and productivity across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Prior to joining the SAINTES (opens in new tab) group, I was a part of the Interactive Media Group (opens in new tab) at Microsoft Research where I focused on the Mt. Rogers (opens in new tab) project to improve traditional productivity tasks in mixed reality environments for a variety of consumers (mobile information workers, low-vision users, power users).

Prior to joining Microsoft I was a Staff Software Engineer at Intel (opens in new tab) where I was a part of various engagements such as building user-friendly tools for programming hardware-accelerated computer vision applications targeting FPGAs, the development of Premo (opens in new tab) – a real-time creative tool that introduced more intuitive and artist-driven workflows into the DreamWorks animation pipeline, and building innovative prototypes showcasing new HCI technology and DreamWorks animation and rendering technology.

I have a Ph.D. in Information and Computer Science from University of California Irvine and a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from University of Bucharest. My current research interests are software engineering analysis and artificial intelligence.
