Huseyin Atahan Inan is a senior researcher in the AI for Domains (AID) group at Microsoft. He is currently focused on domain adaptation of LLMs, continually pre-training/fine-tuning LLMs while mitigating catastrophic forgetting of their existing abilities. He has extensively worked in privacy-preserving ML, i.e. investigating privacy solutions for the training and deployment of ML models. Prior to joining Microsoft, he received his PhD degree from Stanford University in 2020.
