À propos
I’m a member of the Systems Research Group (Redmond) (opens in new tab). My research interests include computer architecture, distributed systems, and networking. I’m particularly interested in problems around the hardware/software interface, where software may be made more efficient by taking advantage of the properties of hardware, or where hardware may be designed to provide more opportunities for software.
My current work focuses on exploring how programmable network devices can be used to accelerate distributed systems in the datacenter.
I received my PhD from the University of Washington School of Computer Science and Engineering (opens in new tab) in 2014, and my BS from Pacific Lutheran University (opens in new tab) in 2000. I joined Microsoft Research in 2016.
