À propos
Hi! I got my Ph.D. from the department of Computer Science (opens in new tab) at Duke University (opens in new tab). My adviser was (is) Kamesh Munagala (opens in new tab). I am now at in Algorithms/Theory group at Microsoft Research (MSR), Redmond.
My research interests are in algorithms, deep learning, differential privacy, and the intersection of these topics. The goal of my research is to identify and solve fundamental problems, which can lead to a tangible yet conceptual impact on the design and implementation of large scale computing systems. In this sense, my research philosophy is akin to a mathematical physicist (opens in new tab) than a pure mathematician. So far, this has led me to the study of 1) resource allocation problems that arise in the data center optimization and deep learning systems optimization 2) how we can design deep learning systems that respect users’ privacy of data.
My current research interests in algorithmic discovery via deep learning, and deep learning in data-constrained regimes.
If you want to know more about my work or work with me, take a look at my papers. I have listed few sample papers; however, my DBLP (opens in new tab) or Google Scholar (opens in new tab) pages do an excellent job of tracking all my publications that can be found on the web.
