Computational chemist and physicist by training️, who got later hooked on machine learning, and now enjoys integrating deep learning into quantum chemistry. Before joining MSR AI for Science in Berlin, I was a postdoc and then a junior group leader at FU Berlin, where I worked on deep learning for quantum Monte Carlo and density functional theory. I got my Phd in physics in 2017 while working at the Fritz Haber Institute on modeling of van der Waals interactions in molecules and materials.
