À propos
Jen Viencek is somewhat of a jack of all trades. She has worn many different hats in her time at Microsoft that has spanned well over a decade. She is well-versed in creating and improving processes, operationalizing ideas, and connecting people with resources and solutions they never knew they needed.
Jen spent five years in Microsoft Research planning first party academic conferences before leaving the company to pursue her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Washington, majoring in Anthropology. She has hopes of one day finding the time to pursue a graduate degree in anthropology or another related field. She returned to Microsoft post-graduation and spent time in both the Experiences + Devices org as a Business Manager and Microsoft Research as an Event PM.
Currently, as a Senior Business PM, she is responsible for bridging the research and product communities through joint programs and events, as well as acting as the deputy chief of staff to Jaime Teevan, Chief Scientist and Technical Fellow in the E+D Office of Applied Research.
