I am a Research SDE 2 at the Microsoft Research Lab in India, where I work on various projects that leverage AI and cloud technologies to empower people and organizations across diverse domains and contexts.

Some of the projects I have been involved in are:

– Azure Purview: A unified data governance solution that helps customers manage and govern their data across on-premises, multicloud, and SaaS sources. I work on mining semantically sound data quality rules at scale, while respecting customer privacy policies and preferences.
– SEEDS: Scalable Educational Experiences with Digital Scaffolding, a project that aims to provide meaningful and accessible education for children with vision impairments. I worked on the system design and led the implementation of the SEEDS platform, which integrates multimodal learning including self learning through IVR calls.
– VELLM: UniVersal Empowerment with Large Language Models, a project that focuses on developing a principled approach to enable inclusive applications of LLMs for all languages and cultures worldwide. I designed and led the implementation of «Shiksha Copilot», a tool that helps teachers plan their classes, by generating personalized content that suits the specific needs of their students, based on their language, level, and interests.

I am passionate about using AI and cloud technologies to create positive social impact and address real-world challenges.
