À propos
As a member of CORE (opens in new tab) in MSR Redmond, my focus is on large-scale optimization for cloud systems and applications.
In 2018 I received my PhD in Operations Research (minor in Machine Learning) from the Georgia Institute of Technology (opens in new tab). In 2012 I was awarded the University Medal for my BSc Hons (Class I) in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Queensland (opens in new tab), Australia. With over 10 years commercial software development experience, I have a strong emphasis on applied research. My research interests span most of discrete optimization and mathematical programming, however my work so far has particular emphasis on time-expanded networks and applications to supply chain and logistics.
