À propos

I am a Researcher at Microsoft Research, Cambridge. I work on Project Silica, a cloud storage technology that uses femtosecond lasers to store data in glass.

I am an interdisciplinary scientist, having completed my PhD from the University of Cambridge on the development of hollow-core photonic crystal fibre microreactors for photochemistry, and then a postdoc on luminescent waveguide-encoded polymer films for improving the performance of photovoltaic cells under ambient lighting. In general, my research interest lie in optical/photoactive materials for the net-zero energy transition.
