I am a Research SDE in the Data Systems (opens in new tab) group at MSR Redmond. I have a broad interest in the areas of cloud database systems, data mining, parallel architectures and hardware accelerators.
I earned my Ph.D. degree at the University of California, Riverside where I was advised by Prof. Vassilis J. Tsotras (opens in new tab) and Prof. Walid A. Najjar (opens in new tab). My thesis focused on evaluation of complex query operators on parallel architectures such as GPUs, and Processing-In-Memory accelerators.
