About

I am a principal researcher of the Speech and Dialog Research Group at Microsoft. My research interests focus on spoken language processing, most recently in large-scale speech-language representation learning. I have over 100 publications in international journals and conferences. Our journal paper (mentored intern’s work) got the best paper award in Speech Communication Journal over the lastest five years (2015~2020). I am a senior member of IEEE and a member of ISCA. I organized several special sessions and served as session chairs at Interspeech, ICASSP, and other conferences. I also served as a secretary for SIG-CSLP (2015~2018) and SIG-MLSLP (2020~current), ISCA.
