Microsoft Research New England hosted guest speakers to present their work in our weekly Colloquium. The topics mirrored the lab\u2019s interdisciplinary focus that includes computer science, the social sciences and economics, and the talks are intended to be accessible to researchers in diverse fields. The agenda typically consisted of approximately 50 minutes of prepared remarks, with about 30 additional minutes of Q&A, often interspersed within the talk. Members of the local academic community interested in attending were encouraged to arrive 20 minutes prior to start time to join us for tea.<\/p>\n
