China<\/p>\nAbout the Conference<\/h2>\r\nSince its inception eleven years ago, Microsoft Research Asia has been committed to advancing the state of the art of computer science in the Asia-Pacific region. As part of this effort, the research lab hosts the 21st Century in Computing Conference each fall, inviting leading computer science luminaries, including Turing Award winners, industry gurus, and academic heavyweights, to present keynote speeches and discuss current topics with attendees. The conference has become one of the most influential events of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region, tackling an important topic in computer science each year.\r\n\r\nThe upcoming conference will be held in Japan in a joint effort with Japanese academia and the research community.
