Research Intern, Visual Computing Group<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Position:<\/strong> Research Intern Group Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Visual Computing Group at Microsoft Research Asia conducts cutting-edge research on multimodal foundation models, visual generation, and AI agents for creative and knowledge-work scenarios. Our mission is to advance the next generation of AI systems that can understand, reason, create, and collaborate with users through multimodal interactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our current research spans:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our technologies are actively transferred to Microsoft Office, M365 Copilot, and future AI-native productivity experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Researchers and interns in the group have opportunities to publish at top-tier conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR, while also contributing to real-world product innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Required<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n 1.Large Language Models (LLMs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2.Vision-Language Models (VLMs)<\/p>\n\n\n\n 3.Diffusion and generative models<\/p>\n\n\n\n 4.Reinforcement learning and post-training<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5.AI agents and tool use<\/p>\n\n\n\n 6.Multimodal reasoning and generation<\/p>\n\n\n\n Preferred<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Internship Duration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
