The field of psychology and the high-tech industry are at a threshold, the same
\nthreshold. This threshold is where we cross over to a world where human experiences
\nwill soon include virtual and augmented reality as normative states, where humans can
\nhave the regular ability to see and experience reality from a perspective of fluid and
\ndistributed subjectivity. What patterns of intelligence, personality, behaviors, and
\noutcomes can we glean from the history of humanity, through the lens of transpersonal
\npsychology, that can advise the evolution of psychology and the high-tech industry to
\ncross this threshold in a way that optimizes the human and societal experience? This
\npaper supposes there are patterns of both intelligence and personality that can be
\nexamined and applied to the creation and experience of technology induced augmented
