PASS Summit 2016 is nearly upon us. With only 4 weeks until the big event, now is the time to register!<\/em><\/p>\n

PASS Summit 2016 is community-driven event with three days of technical sessions, networking, and professional development. Don\u2019t miss your chance to stay up to date on the latest and greatest Microsoft data solutions along with 4,000 of your data professional and developer peers.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s new this year?\u00a0 So many things!<\/h3>\n

\u2022 PASS Summit is not just for DBAs.\u00a0 With nearly 1,000 developers attending the event, Microsoft has increased the number of sessions focused on application development and developer tools by 60%.<\/p>\n

\u2022 While many people attend PASS Summit to grow fundamental database skills, we know that many attendees are very experienced, senior data professionals so we increased the number of deep technical sessions by half.<\/p>\n

\u2022 We have also added a new type of session called a Chalk Talk. These are Level 500 sessions with Microsoft senior program management hosting open Q&A in a collegiate style setting.\u00a0 Seating is limited to 50 so you\u2019ll want to get there early to claim your spot.<\/p>\n

In addition to these enhancements, Microsoft has also increased investment in sending employees onsite to talk with attendees.\u00a0 They\u2019ll be easy to spot \u2013 all 500 Microsoftees will be wearing bright fuchsia t-shirts.\u00a0 You can find them in big numbers the Day 1 keynote, Microsoft booth, SQL Clinic, Wednesday\u2019s Birds of a Feather luncheon, Thursday\u2019s WIT luncheon, and of course in our big booth in the Expo Hall.<\/p>\n
