Today we are pleased to announce the availability of a community technology preview release of the Microsoft JDBC Driver for SQL Server! Download the preview driver today <\/strong>here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n The JDBC Driver for SQL Server is a Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) type 4 driver that provides robust data access to Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Azure SQL Database. \u00a0Microsoft JDBC Driver 4.1 (Preview) for SQL Server now supports Java Development Kit (JDK) version 7.0.<\/p>\n The updated driver is part of SQL Server\u2019s wider interoperability program, which includes the recent announcement of a preview driver for SQL Server compatible with PHP 5.5<\/a>.<\/p>\n
