As we get closer to launch – we have started locking down the sessions that we will have at launch. There are going to be 3 technical tracks at launch along with 1 track for IT Manager. For the 3 technical tracks, we will have 1 for Data Platform, 1 for Infrastructure and1 for developers. Within the data platform track – we will have 4 sessions focused on SQL Server and accompanying technologies.<\/p>\n
1. Run Mission Critical Applications on SQL Server 2008 <\/p>\n
Covers all the core capabilities of the database engine, including scale, performance, HA and security<\/p>\n
2. SQL Server 2008 BI platform<\/p>\n
Covers the breadth of our BI platform including Integration Services, Analysis Services and Reporting Services<\/p>\n
3. Manage SQL Server 2008<\/p>\n
Covers all our manageability improvements in the platform and tools<\/p>\n
4. Build and deploy data applications<\/p>\n
Covers the breadth of developer improvements from our beyond relational investments of spatial and Filestream, sync services, T-SQL improvements and finally our entity framework and ADO.NET Data Services.<\/p>\n
