Here we are on the eve of WinHEC 2007<\/a>. This show is always a fun industry event for me to engage with a broad spectrum of partners. Perhaps none better than last year, when we demo\u2019d Windows Server virtualization (codename Viridian) for the first time in BillG\u2019s keynote<\/a>, and presented technical content<\/a> of the new architecture. Both the demo and technical sessions drew accolades and a ton of excitement.<\/p>\n

Now almost a year later I\u2019m proud to say we\u2019ve made good progress with Windows Server virtualization: <\/p>\n
