TruRand generates true random numbers. Usually, computers use mathematical algorithms to generate pseudo-random numbers, which occur in a sequence that is predetermined by the seed value input to the algorithm. TruRand does it differently, using asynchronous aspects of computer hardware and the human-to-computer interface to generate sequences of random numbers that are not predetermined and do not repeat. Random numbers in the two-digit range can be used to fill out a lottery ticket that is least likely to be played by anyone else. Random numbers can be used for other purposes, such as encryption of data. You can rely on TruRand to provide numbers that are truly random.
