Idag vill vi informera om hur vi uppdaterat Outlook.com till att bli mer intelligent n\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller var dina postl\u00e5dedata lagras.<\/p>\n<p>Outlook.com hanteras fr\u00e5n flera olika datacentra runt om i v\u00e4rlden, vilket ger feltolerans, belastningsutj\u00e4mning och prestandaf\u00f6rdelar. V\u00e5rt m\u00e5l \u00e4r att skapa ditt Outlook.com-konto i datacentra som ger dig b\u00e4st prestanda. F\u00f6r USA och Europa inneb\u00e4r det att vi skapar ditt konto i datacentra som ligger n\u00e4ra d\u00e4r du befinner dig. Historiskt har dessa platser fastst\u00e4llts utifr\u00e5n det land du valt som hemort n\u00e4r du skapade kontot.<\/p>\n<p>Men idag n\u00e4r m\u00e4nniskor st\u00e4ndigt flyttar p\u00e5 sig g\u00e5r det inte att f\u00f6rlita sig p\u00e5 att du manuellt ska uppdatera informationen om din hemort. Dessutom \u00f6kar v\u00e5r datacenterkapacitet vilket ger oss \u00f6kade m\u00f6jligheter att hantera dina data n\u00e4rmare den plats d\u00e4r du befinner dig. F\u00f6ljaktligen har vi gjort uppdateringar som f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttrar v\u00e5ra m\u00f6jligheter att med st\u00f6rre precision f\u00f6rvara dina Outlook.com-data n\u00e4rmare dig.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e4r du skapar ett nytt Outlook.com-konto fastst\u00e4lls l\u00e4mpligt datacenter automatiskt ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r att anv\u00e4nda informationen om hemort som finns i din kontoprofil. Om du allts\u00e5 fysiskt befinner dig i USA n\u00e4r du skapar ditt Outlook.com-konto kommer \u00e4ven din e-post att lagras i USA. Och om du \u00e4r i Europa n\u00e4r du skapar ditt konto s\u00e5 lagras din e-post i Europa.<\/p>\n<p>Vi har \u00e4ven gjort Outlook.com tillr\u00e4ckligt smart f\u00f6r att automatiskt flytta ditt konto till ett mer n\u00e4rliggande datacenter n\u00e4r tj\u00e4nsten under en viss tidsperiod k\u00e4nner av att du bytt plats fr\u00e5n den ursprungliga platsen och prestandan d\u00e4rmed kan f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttras.
