Microsoft Neurodiversity Hiring Program
Established in 2015, Microsoft’s Neurodiversity Hiring Program has significantly impacted the company by attracting a diverse range of talent. Our employees work on cutting-edge technologies and products that reach millions of users worldwide. This includes developing new features for Windows, enhancing cloud services on Azure, and creating tools that improve productivity in Office 365.
The program offers an alternative front door into Microsoft, while maintaining the same hiring assessment standards as for any other candidate. What sets Microsoft’s Neurodiversity Hiring Program apart is the support model we provide. Our goal is to ensure that all candidates, regardless of their cognitive processing styles, have an opportunity to showcase their skills and contribute to Microsoft’s success.
Our recruiting process is designed to engage, attract, and select the best talent by employing strategies that cast a wide net to find both the required and desired skills needed. This approach emphasizes identifying and securing top talent who can contribute effectively to our organization's success and culture, with a thorough screening-in philosophy in the selection process.
