The new Microsoft commerce experience is a multi-year investment to create a consistent and simplified purchase experience for customers and partners. It will enable your CSP partner to accelerate your digital transformation by giving you access to new Microsoft product offers along with the support services and unique solutions you already enjoy. In late 2023 and throughout 2024, your partner will migrate your Microsoft subscriptions from the legacy platform to the new commerce system. You will be able to choose one-month and one-year subscription terms, and your partner will be able to align your subscription term end dates as you purchase additional subscriptions. Your partner will continue to manage billing in ways that work best for your business. And the new commerce platform gives your partner a powerful set of purchasing options to help you optimize and control your Azure investments and costs, such as Azure Reserved Instances and Azure Savings Plan.
