This morning at the Enterprise Connect 2018 in Orlando, Microsoft Teams won the show’s top prize, Best of Enterprise Connect, based on the reimagined vision for Teams as the hub for teamwork in Office 365. Competing in a crowded field of nominations from 40 companies, finalists were judged on factors including technology advancement, scope and reach, relevancy for large and midmarket enterprises, pricing, and business impact—all areas in which Teams distinguishes itself.

The judging panel was comprised of recognized industry experts, including:

  • Robin Gareiss, president and founder, Nemertes Research
  • Zeus Kerravala, founder and principal analyst, ZK Research
  • Marty Parker, principal consultant, UniComm Consulting; and co-founder, UCStrategies
  • Dave Stein, principal, Stein Technology Group

As we celebrate our first year in market with Teams, we are thankful to our customers, partners, and of course those of you who have become avid Teams users for coming on this journey with us. We look forward to continuing to bring you experiences that enable your teams to achieve more together.
