Elevating transparency
ACTS believes in creating better transparency. We seek to use technology to open the door to anti-corruption solutions that help governments achieve more with their data. We work with customers at every stage of digital transformation, from those that are still mostly manual to those that are further along in their journey. By utilizing AI and machine learning, data patterns are revealed that bring to the forefront what was previously hidden from view. This enables users to proactively spot potential problems and connect the dots to see more. Now that’s better transparency.
An opportunity to do more
“Corruption always takes place in the shadows of our countries and the world, and hence, there is an opportunity for us to do more—to reduce and try to rid the world of corruption, I think—than ever before,” says Brad Smith, Microsoft President. Using technology for government transformation

“When governments don’t know who the beneficial owner of a company is, it can lead to significant legal risk and prevents fair competition from occurring,” says Chris Nelson, associate general counsel, Proactive Risk Engagement for Microsoft’s Corporate External and Legal Affairs. Microsoft ACTS teams with partners to develop technology solutions that unlock opportunities for governments to identify beneficial ownership through their data.
