Christian Bale stars in these two action adventures on the Western front. Hostiles tells the story of a legendary Army Captain (Bale), who after stern resistance, reluctantly agrees to escort a dying Cheyenne war chief (Wes Studi) and his family back to tribal lands. They embark on a perilous journey through hostile Comanche territories and along the way, encounter a young widow (Rosamund Pike), whose family was murdered on the plains. 3:10 to Yuma is set in Arizona in the late 1800s, where infamous outlaw Ben Wade (Russell Crowe) and his vicious gang of thieves and murderers have plagued the Southern Railroad. When Wade is captured, Civil War veteran Dan Evans (Bale), struggling to survive on his drought-plagued ranch, volunteers to deliver him alive to the "3:10 to Yuma," a train that will take the killer to trial.
