Later, the Maquis/Starfleet crew each individually face demons from their past. In "Barge of the Dead," B'Elanna struggles with questions of the afterlife and her Klingon heritage. In "Collective," Seven becomes a mentor to five young drones abandoned by the Borg Collective. In "Life Line," the Doctor seizes an opportunity to save the life of the man who created him. The season concludes with "Unimatrix Zero, Part 1," which finds Captain Janeway facing her biggest battle yet against the Borg: assimilation.
