Built on Microsoft Research Asia’s more than two-decade advanced research and technology transfer foundation, Industry Innovation Center is staffed with a group of world-class researchers and applied scientists, with the mission to tackle real-world hard problems and demonstrate our thought leadership in key industries using innovative technologies. In partnership with industry leaders, the center focuses on inventing cutting-edge machine learning algorithms for intelligent prediction, decision optimization, anomaly detection and digital simulation, to address key challenges of financial industry, supply chain, energy transformation and healthcare, etc.
During the past five years, MSR Asia has established strong partnership with leading companies in important industrial sectors, acquired valuable domain know-hows, developed breakthrough technologies and open-source tools (Qlib, MARO, FOST, BatteryML) for key industry scenarios with real deployment and significant business values.
