Linda Yilin Wen is a Program Manager at Microsoft Research, working at the intersection of research, product, and design to translate cutting-edge AI advances into global-scale, real-world impact.
She has been part of interdisciplinary teams driving frontier research in world modeling, multimodal generative AI, and computer vision, with work published in venues such as Nature (opens in new tab)and CHI. Building on the research insights, she translates emerging AI capabilities into AI-powered experiences that reach users worldwide across products including Microsoft Copilot, Word, Seeing AI, and Xbox.
Linda is particularly passionate about developing inclusive and responsible AI systems that empower diverse communities and unlock new forms of storytelling.
She holds graduate degrees in Global Innovation Design from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Pomona College.
