About

I am a computer scientist in the Human-AI eXperiences (HAX) (opens in new tab) team, at Microsoft Research, AI Frontiers (opens in new tab).

I build and study AI agents and explore how they can collaborate with people to complete complex tasks. Current projects include AutoGen (opens in new tab), Magentic-One (opens in new tab), and MarkItDown (opens in new tab). Previously, I worked on web search, intelligent assistants, and other information systems, studying the roles they play in supporting people’s tasks and interactions with other technologies.

Before joining Microsoft, I studied at the University of Waterloo (opens in new tab), where I earned my Master’s and Doctorate degrees.
