About
Alonso Guevara is a Sr. RSDE for the Societal Resilience team within Microsoft Research’s Special Projects division. His career, since joining the team in 2021, has focused on graph analysis, data retrieval and transformation, data provenance, and misinformation/disinformation studies.
Prior to Microsoft, Alonso worked at Amazon where he focused at large scale and distributed system design and implementation, leading projects dedicated to seller-facing services and platforms.
He also serves as a professor at the Statistics and AI, and Computer Science schools at Universidad Cenfotec.
