About
Amgad Madkour is a data & applied science manager at Microsoft. He obtained his Ph.D. in computer science from Purdue University. Before joining Microsoft, he was a staff R&D engineer at IBM working in the areas of Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Machine Translation. At Microsoft, he currently leads several end-to-end data-driven features for autos. In addition, he is actively investigating the usage of large language models (LLMS) for shopping as a mean for assisting users in their buying journey.
