I have joined Microsoft Research in 2007. Since then I was involved in building performant Machine Learning components, relevancy platforms, as well as understanding and modeling semantics of Natural Language. Most recently I have been focusing on metagenomics. My engineering interests revolve around practical applications of Machine Learning algorithms, performance optimization and tuning, modularization, big data and functional programming.
