About
I am an associate researcher in the PROSE team. I am a part of AI for Education project where we try to bridge the gap between Tutors and learners in Introductory Programming courses. I am currently working on an intelligent AI Tutor which provides quick and timely feedback to the students while they are coding. The goal is to make the system easily adaptable to new courses by mining common error patterns from past student coding sessions. I’m also interested in human computer interaction, and I try to design these tools keeping the user in mind. Apart from that I like to explore the latest research in AI for Code and improving developer workflow.
Before joining PROSE, I have completed my undergraduate studies in Electronics and Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology Surathkal in India. As a part of my final year project, I have worked on introducing new pseudo tasks to train neural models for code in a self-supervised way.
